Main Street District
Most of your week on foot
Parks, two rail stations, the Arts District and the Farmers Market are a few minutes from the front door. The garage is there for everything else.
Why downtown, and why this block
Most Dallas apartments come with a commute. 1900 Elm comes with a sidewalk. The building sits in the Main Street district, the part of the city that was built for people on foot, and the things you do every week are close enough that the car can stay in the garage: a park one block away, a rail station four minutes off, coffee and dinner on the surrounding blocks, and the Arts District and the Farmers Market in opposite directions, each about a twelve-minute walk.
Getting around
St. Paul Station is the closest DART stop, and every light rail line through downtown passes it, so the Medical District, Love Field, DFW Airport and the suburbs are a train ride, not a drive. When you do drive, the two-level garage is under the building and the freeways are minutes away.
Groceries
The closest full grocery store is the Tom Thumb on North Field Street, about twenty minutes on foot or five by car. Whole Foods in Uptown and the Target on Haskell are each about a mile and a half, an easy ride.
Walk times are estimates from the front door at a normal pace. Ask for the walking map when you tour.
